Volume Booster Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026. This policy covers the Loudness.ai Volume Booster Chrome extension.
Audio processing
Loudness.ai Volume Booster processes audio from a Chrome tab only after you press Boost this tab. Audio stays in your browser. The extension does not record, save or upload audio, and it does not send audio to Loudness.ai or any other server.
Tab information
The extension temporarily reads tab identifiers, the selected tab’s title and its URL to identify the audio session, display its title in the popup and check that the page supports activation. These details are not saved as browsing history or sent elsewhere. We do not track your browsing history.
Saved preferences
Your preferred volume percentage and distortion-reduction setting are stored locally in Chrome. No account is required. The extension does not use analytics, advertising trackers or remote processing.
How information is used
Website audio and temporary tab information are used only to provide the volume, mute and optional peak-reduction controls you activate. The extension does not sell or share user data, use it for unrelated purposes, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Stopping and removal
Press Stop boosting or close the activated tab to release its audio capture. Removing the extension removes its stored settings through Chrome’s normal extension removal process.
Website visits and support
The optional Audio tools link opens Loudness.ai only when you click it. The website’s own privacy policy applies to that visit. If you contact us, we receive the details and message you choose to send and use them to answer your request.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy if the extension changes. The latest version and effective date will appear on this page. Email asad@loudness.ai with privacy questions or requests.
